Mille Lacs Academy, a Nexus Family Member, offers trauma-informed, family-centered, nationally recognized treatment for boys, ages 10-19, with significant mental health issues and harmful sexual behaviors. Job Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the Executive Director in overseeing assigned clinical and support services department, ensuring fiscal control and accountability, and fostering strong community relations. Provide leadership and management for clinical services provided by MLA. Direct the development and ongoing enhancement of individual client treatment consistent with Nexus treatment philosophies. Participate in and support the ongoing selection, evaluation and development of staff. Attend clinical and administrative team meetings, clinical supervision sessions, and other meetings as required. Understand and support the Nexus philosophy and treatment modalities. Ensure confidentiality regarding client’s medical backgrounds and treatment issues per HIPAA guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree required, preferably in a clinical discipline or business management. Must be licensed as LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, or another designated mental health professional in the state of MN. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in related Human Services field; residential preferred. Plus a minimum of 3 years supervisory experience required. Preferred experience working with sexually problematic youth, understanding of MN DOC certification regulations, and have necessary training required by DOC regulations. If candidate does not have training, must be agreeable to complete training requirements upon hire.
