The Clinical Supervisor is principally responsible for oversight of Rawhide’s therapeutic services, including assessment and psychometric testing. The Clinical Supervisor position is responsible for providing individual and group supervision to licensed staff across several Rawhide programs including: Residential Care, Occupational Therapy (Sensory Integration), Nursing Care. Regularly, this role will provide clinical consultation to residential therapists. Additionally, the Clinical Supervisor collaborates with Rawhide’s Outpatient Clinic Administrator. As needed, the candidate may provide some direct service to residents/clients. The preferred candidate will be familiar with residential care, child welfare and relevant licensing requirements from the state of Wisconsin, including knowledge of the Department of the Children and Families and the Department of Corrections.
The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services for youth in crisis and support direct care staff by recommending and modeling therapeutic interventions. Program development skills will be a necessity, as an exciting element of this role will be to lead, maximize, support and evaluate the therapeutic services of Rawhide’s youth programs. He/she will support staff by providing clinical supervision and oversight of staff development. As direct-report openings arise, this role will work in connection with Human Resources to screen, hire, and train qualified staff.
In regards to oversight of Rawhide’s psychometric testing, this role will drive, establish, and guide quality control of metrics and deliverables, ensuring that Rawhide’s assessment instruments are current and relevant. Periodically, this role will act as a liaison between Rawhide and placing agencies by establishing and maintaining mutual understanding, cooperation, and communication. Budgetary expenditures to accomplish financial objectives will require continuous monitoring as projected expenses must fall within the operational budget. The Clinical Supervisor will report directly to the Director of Youth Services.
Fully licensed LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
Clinical supervisory experience
Experience in trauma-based treatment
In depth knowledge of sensory therapy
Prior experience in a residential child care facility
Ability to handle crisis situations
Knowledge of how to coordinate in-service training programs
Experience in the development and implementation of treatment plans
