LOCATION: Minneapolis, Minnesota

STATUS: Full Time (40 hours) with benefits

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Kindred Family Focus, part of the Nexus family of treatment programs, is seeking a full time Social Worker Licensor in the Twin Cities area to join our team. Responsibilities include: Assisting with recruitment, licensing and orientation for new foster and adoptive families and relicensing of current families. Maintain and provide reporting of foster/adoptive family activities, complete all documentation in accordance with KFF, DHS and COA requirements. Assist the development and implementation of marketing plans.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requires a Bachelor's Degree preferably in Social Work, Psychology or Human/Social Services related field, and a minimum of two years related experience in foster care or Human Services community based case work, working with youth and families. (If Master’s degree, then one year related experience is required).

Requires a MN Social Work license (LSW) and valid MN Driver's license. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, exhibit a high degree of ethical conduct, integrity, and confidentiality, demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, and be able to interact with and appreciate people from diverse cultural, social, economic and religious backgrounds.
