Stephanie Ward has been with Justice Resource Institute for 35 years and counting. She developed her expertise in operations and leadership of intensive treatment interventions for some of JRI’s and the State’s most challenging children and adults; currently oversees JRI’s DYS and DMH services; facilitates JRI’s statewide Directors of Nursing professional development meetings; and serves as liaison to Massachusetts Association of Chapter 766-Approved Private Schools (MAAPS). Stephanie is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who received her B.A. from College of the Holy Cross and M.Ed. from Bridgewater State University. She has two post-graduate certificates in non-profit executive management from Suffolk University and Boston University. Stephanie is Past President and current member of the executive committee of the MAAPS Board of Directors. She presented leadership workshops at MAAPS’ 2014 Executive Management professional development group and Leadership Summit; and chairs the MAAPS outcomes committee. Stephanie serves on the program committee for the American Association for Children’s Residential Centers. She serves as a mentor with the B.U. Institute of Nonprofit Management and Leadership and as a behavioral health volunteer with her local medical reserve corp.
