The Pathway Home is a voluntary, comprehensive, individualized mental health residential program for adolescents from 13 to 18 years old. Its mission is to create a loving and supportive community environment where Alaska Native children can develop into independent, service-minded, and productive leaders. Through a combination of individual, group, and recreation therapy, youth learn healthier methods of managing behavior, handling conflict and anger, progressing in recovery, and improving relationships with family members. The Pathway Home provides a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for adolescent youth. We place emphasis on building and maintaining healthy, positive, and supportive relationships. We support customer-owners and families working through challenges and developing new skills that provide autonomy, preserve values and culture, and provide healthy alternatives to navigate life’s challenges.
Hiring Range: $98,696.00 to $134,888.00
Pay Range: $98,696.00 to $152,984.00
Role Description Clinical Supervisor for The Pathway Home
The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the overall clinical quality and oversight of the clinical services provided, meeting regulatory and accreditation standards within the program, and support staff in engaging customer-owners in the appropriate level of care. The individual in this position will oversee clinical operations, provide direct supervision to staff, and ensure compliance with organizational and accreditation standards and policies. Responsibilities include conducting clinical supervision, managing case assignments, and promoting effective team collaboration. Additionally, the Clinical Supervisor will utilize their expertise to support program development and maintain high-quality care delivery.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Meet one of the following:
- Master’s in Behavioral Health field including; Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.
- Graduate degree in behavior analysis, education, or psychology from an accredited university or college program OR graduate degree from an accredited university or college program AND completion of a Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) verified course sequence AND current certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Current Alaska Licensure in designated field. If licensed in another state, will need to obtain license in Alaska prior to start date.
- Three (3) years of clinical experience post licensure in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO and PALS as required for specialty and any certification relating to the scope of practice as required.
Additional Qualifications for The Pathway Home:
- One (1) year of clinical experience post licensure in a multidisciplinary environment. (In addition to the 3 years required for other Clinical Supervisor positions.
- Four (4) years of supervisory experience in a setting that serves children and/or adolescents, including at least one (1) year of experience in a residential setting.
- Obtain an Approved Counselor Supervisor Certification from the Alaska Board of Professional Counselors within one (1) year of hire.
Native Preference:
Under P.L. 93-638, as amended, the company pursues a policy of Native preference in hiring, contracting and training. SCF Human Resources must receive certification before applicants receive preference.
