The Associate Director of Residential and Clinical Services is responsible for providing clinical oversight, case management, and staff supervision in our residential program for youth with mental health and behavioral disabilities. This individual will create and maintain safe and therapeutic treatment environments within the assigned units by providing appropriate supervision, support and accountability to the staff.
Qualified candidates will have a Master’s Degree in a human services area, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Psychologist preferred. At least five years of direct clinical work with children and adolescents is required. At least three years experience in a supervisory and administrative role in a human services environment required, experience in residential treatment preferred. Knowledge of clinical work with severely emotionally disturbed adolescents is required. The candidate must direct and manage staff, handling recruiting, training, and addressing conflict and problem situations in a constructive and productive manner. The successful candidate enjoys a fast-paced environment, can focus on big-picture concepts, delegates work appropriately, oversees and adheres to regulatory requirements, and demonstrates an encouraging, stimulating presence to the work group.
