Responsibilities: Assess and evaluate resident needs and requirements using psychological evaluation techniques, including psychological testing, and to design and implement effective treatment plans. Conducts and interprets appropriate testing and prepares psychological evaluations in a timely manner. Manages a caseload and provides individual and family therapy sessions for assigned residents. Coordinates with fellow clinicians to provide support and assessment of treatment needs; coordinates with school and residential departments to ensure overall success and progress of treatment goals and objectives. Consults with Clinical Director and Consulting psychiatrist in review of cases and treatment planning. Develops and conducts training to align with the organizations goals and objectives for care.
Requirements: Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, completion of a formal internship in clinical or counseling psychology, and ability to achieve licensure as a Psychologist in the State of Wyoming. Previous experience in residential treatment setting for youth or other specialized training in trauma-focused care and treatment techniques is a plus. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
