Arrow Child & Family Ministries is seeking an Executive Director for Freedom Place, a 16-bed comprehensive care and recovery program for underage female victims of domestic commercial sexual exploitation. Freedom Place, a residential treatment facility is the first of its kind in the State of Texas and has received national recognition for innovative treatment approaches. The Executive Director is responsible for the operational and clinical services for this residential facility located just North of Houston, TX (Montgomery County). You will provide oversight for the Program Director and the Clinical Director, and we prefer that the Executive Director have experience in environments that utilize trauma-informed care or TBRI. Supervisory experience is a must for this position. The position requires the ability to develop and maintain relationship with external stakeholders such as law enforcement, state and local agencies and fellow professionals.
Based on the special needs of the children served, only female candidates will be considered for this position.
The Executive Director Requires:
Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s degree preferred, from accredited college or university required. Residential Child Care Program Administrator license is preferred and, if not currently certified, the Program Director will be expected to obtain license within 12 months of hire. At least seven (7) years of experience working in the social services field and three (3) years in a residential facility with progressive supervisory and administrative experience.
