Bekah has worked in Children’s Social Care policy within the Department for Education (DfE) since 2012. Prior to that she was a National Manager for the Children’s Workforce Development Council, leading teams across a number of workforce strategies and prior to that she was head of curriculum and qualifications at the National Academy for Parenting Practitioners. Bekah is now head of Residential Workforce and Regulation Unit in the Looked after Children Placements Division and has been leading on the Review of Children’s Homes Workforce, revision of Social Care Common Inspection Framework (SCCIF) and Supported Accommodation policy.
