Lysbert Zeinstra is a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Her work focuses on trauma-informed family interventions for youth with complex and multiple problems, with a specific interest in bridging research and clinical practice. She completed her PhD on the inpatient trauma-focused treatment program KINGS, in collaboration with Accare and the University of Groningen. Currently, she is involved in the EMPaThY project, examining how professional empathy can improve treatment outcomes. Her research combines quantitative and practice-based approaches to inform care for vulnerable families.
