Ignacia Sierra González is a sociologist and a PhD candidate in Childhood and Youth Studies at the University of Sussex. She holds a Master’s degree in Sociology of Childhood and Children’s Rights from University College London. Her research focuses on institutionalisation, power relations and agency among young people with experience of residential care and the youth justice system in Chile.
