Neil McMillan is Executive Director at Kibble Education & Care Centre, leading strategic development and service delivery across residential and community child care services. He has over 30 years’ experience in residential child care, progressing from frontline practice to senior leadership. Neil has worked internationally as a child protection consultant with organisations including UNICEF and Save the Children, supporting policy and system development across multiple countries. He holds a BA in Social Work, an MBA and two MSc degrees in Child Protection and Advanced Residential Child Care, all with distinction. His research interests include quality, ethics, and system design in residential care, with published work in these areas. Neil is committed to improving outcomes for children through evidence-informed practice, leadership, and cross-sector collaboration.
