Makda Kifle is a PhD student in Early childhood Education and Development at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia with over nine years of working and volunteering experiences in orphanages and child care centers. Her work focuses on the well being of orphaned and vulnerable children in which she is currently doing her PhD research on Quality of Caregiver–Child Interaction and Social-Emotional Competence of Children Living in Residential Care in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
