Penina Blank, BA., Psychology

Penina was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She has her B.A. in psychology and is starting her master’s degree in social work at Wurzweiler School of Social Work this upcoming fall. She is passionate about making an impact in the mental health field and has been volunteering on the global Crisis Text Line for over two years. Because of her own personal journey with depression and anxiety, some of Penina’s passions include raising awareness about mental illness, offering a voice to others who are unable to speak out, and helping to eradicate the stigma associated with mental illness. Upon graduation from her master’s program, Penina aspires to work in a therapeutic treatment facility where she can counsel her clients using both her professional expertise and personal experiences and help to ensure that they are offered the best chances for success.
