Resilience is generally known as the ability to withstand adversity or to bounce back from stressful events in life. While these descriptions of resilience are simple and easy to understand, they do not account for the many elements which collectively shape a person’s sense of resilience. For professionals in the child and youth care profession, it is important to understand how resilience is deeply rooted in and cultivated through relational experiences. In this Webinar we will explore the key factors of resilience and how those in the child and youth care profession can enhance the resilience of self and others.
