Salary Range: $37.00 To 50.00 Hourly

We are looking for compassionate, trauma-informed trained therapists who want to make a difference in the lives of youth and their families. 

 

JOB SUMMARY

Act as a member of an integrative team to provide in-home therapeutic treatment for each child and/or their family by designing and implementing a comprehensive treatment plan to help them meet their treatment goals.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  1. Assess family and child’s treatment needs.
  2. Meeting with clients on a weekly basis in their home or agreed-upon location
  3. Provides in-home family and individual therapy to families at a frequency consistent with the treatment plan.
  4. Acts as an advocate for the family.
  5. Quickly and effectively responds to crisis.
  6. Documents clinical activities and case progress in a timely, thorough, and clearly written manner.
  7. Effectively presents cases in court, staff, and other meetings as necessary.
  8. Effectively communicates clinical and other information about the family to team members, purchasers, and consultants.
  9. Completes discharge summaries in a timely manner that clearly describes the course of treatment.
  10. Maintains knowledge of community resources and is able to access them when necessary.
  11.  Perform other duties as required.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education/Training: Master’s degree in social work, or counseling field emphasizing child, adolescent, and family therapy.  License required.

Skills: Demonstrable knowledge of normal and pathological child and adolescent development behavior.  A proven ability to work with children and adolescents and their families.  A demonstrable ability to guide and direct the treatment efforts of a multidisciplinary team toward a common treatment goal.  Ability to manage a flexible schedule. Willingness to travel and some evening hours required.

Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and show proof of 100,000/300,000 Bodily Injury Auto Liability Insurance and 100,000 Property Damage Auto Liability Insurance.
