As a Residential Manager for the Residential Center for Healing & Resilience, you can proudly tell your family and friends that you help nurture hope, healing, and resilience in Idaho’s youth as a part of the management team overseeing the program. Every member of the IYR works to contribute to the Programs and Services in their own way to make them accessible to all youth who need those services in Idaho.
Must Haves:
- Must be 25 years of age
- Must have a valid Idaho driver’s license or obtain one within 15 days of hire
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of psychiatric disorders, behavioral management techniques, and trauma-informed care approaches.
- Background in the treatment of adolescents
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree with one year of children’s residential care experience.
- Prior experience in a residential or treatment facility, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role, is highly desirable
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and licensing requirements governing residential treatment facilities
Our Residential Managers:
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise residential staff members, including direct care staff
- Establishes a schedule that ensures the best operation of the program
- Works to assure that personnel know and understand the service plans of each individual child in their program
- Supports the Program Manager, program and clinical staff by covering on-call duties as assigned
As a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, the Idaho Youth Ranch is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) program. The PLSF offers student loan forgiveness on qualifying loans under specific conditions. Speak with your loan provider for more information.
This position is located in Idaho and candidates must be within a reasonable distance to our location
Residential Center staff are required to be up to date with various vaccinations, including the influenza and COVID-19 vaccines, barring an approved exemption
