Stories of Change: Strengthening Resiliency in Children and Youth through Trauma Informed Expressive Arts Practices

Session December 30, 2024

Best practices suggest that integrative methods which impact the mind and body are essential in trauma recovery. Expressive arts interventions are effective in treating trauma in children by encouraging the externalization of inner trauma. We will advance understanding of preventive interventions that promote behavioral health and enhance clinical skills related to the use of art, visual imagery, narratives and sandplay.
