Kristen Corkum, LMHC completed her masters’ degree in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine. She serves as the Assistant Clinical Director at Cohannet Academy, the only all-girls, Intensive Residential Treatment Program (IRTP) in Massachusetts. She provides individual, family, and group therapies to youth with complex trauma histories, co-morbid mental health diagnoses, and high risk behaviors. Ms. Corkum also serves as an adjunct professor at Boston University School of Medicine, providing group supervision to graduate students learning to navigate the complexities of delivering trauma-informed care. She is passionate about empowering young people through hope and connection.
