Emily Robbearts

Senior Director

EAGLE Accreditation

With nearly 30 years of experience in marketing, public relations, communication and community building work performed in non-profit sectors of healthcare and human service, Emily Robbearts, Senior Director of EAGLE Accreditation for the United Methodist Association of Health & Welfare Ministries (UMA), is responsible for the operation, promotion and expansion of the EAGLE Accreditation Program.  The only nationally recognized faith-based accreditation program, the EAGLE principles bring spirituality to the forefront by establishing a powerful lens through which organizations can examine all aspects of their work. EAGLE affirms an organization’s commitment to service and operational excellence, while living out its faith values in the care provided to clients, in relationships with staff, in partnership with the board and in support of the local community.

Prior to joining the UMA staff, Emily worked at an EAGLE-accreditation organization serving children, youth and families. In her role, she assisted with the agency’s EAGLE accreditation survey, served as an EAGLE peer reviewer and participated on the EAGLE Marketing Task Force. Emily has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri and a master’s degree in Business Administration from William Woods University. She is an active member and former chair of the Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce Diversity and Inclusion Committee and is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Quincy, IL.
