Dave Wallace joined LaSalle’s staff in 2004 as a social worker and has served in many roles including Director of Clinical Services and Associate Executive Director for Program Development. In 2018, he became LaSalle’s 24th Executive Director and the first clinician to serve in this role.
With over 20 years of experience in child welfare, mental health, and juvenile justice, Dave is a nationally recognized expert in treating youth and families who have experienced sexual abuse and complex trauma. As an active trainer, he presented to audiences throughout the United States, Canada and Australia, on the topics of trauma, clinical best practices, and behavioral health policy. He also serves on a number of state and national associations, boards, and committees, all dedicated to the improvement of treatment services to youth and families with complex mental health and behavioral needs.
Dave earned a master’s degree in Social Work from the State University of New York at Albany, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Binghamton. He is licensed by the State of New York as a clinical social worker.
