ASSOCIATE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FOR PROGRAM AND SERVICES

WHO YOU CAN BECOME: The Associate Executive Director for Program and Services (AEDPS) is La Salle School’s senior leader to all assigned programs and services for youth and families. Working as the leader of the agency wide senior leadership team, they provide oversight and direction to all assigned Program Directors. The AEDPS has a key role in the executive leadership of La Salle, working as part of a team to ensure that programs are functioning safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with all applicable standards. They also provide oversight of all program utilization and enrollment, with a keen eye for risk management and sound financial operations. The AEDPS takes a leadership role in the implementation of all agency-wide initiatives (DEIB, Trauma Informed Care, Philosophy of Care, etc.), changes to existing programming, and the identification and development of new programming including responding to requests for proposal, grants, and other opportunities that serve LaSalle School’s mission and strategic goals. As a senior leader, they also support agency efforts to animate LaSallian culture and values, sustain partnerships with other ministries, and promote the formation of staff in all areas of the agency. This is a full-time, 35 hours a week, exempt, salary position.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Serve as member of the Executive and Admin-on-Call teams.
- Assist in reporting to Board of Trustees and serve as the primary liaison to the Program and Planning committee.
- Oversee LaSalle’s Program Directors, as assigned.
- Monitor and manage program utilization, outcomes, and regulatory/fiscal compliance in all assigned program areas.
- Take a leadership role in maintaining effective interdepartmental collaboration.
- Participate in the development and monitoring of budget and fiscal resources for assigned program areas.
- Ensure that program directors have the support, staff, training, and other resources necessary to provide quality service.
- Exercise sound risk management practices.
- Actively build and sustain sound working relationships with placing authorities, oversight entities, and other stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Master’s or other advanced degree in social work, special education, or another relevant human services field
- Several years of progressive responsibility in education, behavioral health, congregate care, or other related complex Child Welfare (CW)/Juvenile Justice (JJ) operations
- Demonstrated skill in senior management, administrative duties, human resources, and staff supervision.
- Experience with many or all applicable regulatory environments.
- Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS)
- Office of Mental Health (OMH)
- Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS)
- Special Education (SED)
- Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR)
- Familiarity with applicable accreditation standards and reviews
- Experience with Managed Care, Medicaid, Prevention, and other related funding streams/ regulatory environments.

WHAT WE OFFER:

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
