In his 10 years of service to our field, Stephan Spilkowitz has served in both direct care and managerial capacities. In his current role as Assistant Director of Therapeutic Programming & Youth Development, he leads ANDRUS’ Recreation Therapist team as well as a wide variety of special programs (Ropes Course, NYPUM dirtbike program, PAWS therapy dog program, Swimming Program, and more). Stephan is also an experienced trainer of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention, the Sanctuary Model, and Restorative Practices. He holds a BA in Psychology from Cornell University and an MA in Organizational Psychology & Change Leadership from Columbia University.
