For over 25 years, DeAndre Marshall has worked in the nonprofit and faith sectors creating programs and opportunities for persons of all ages. She also consulted with the National Center for Civil and Human Rights’ Women and Girls Collaborative, planning and executing programs for women and girls focused on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal #5—Achieving Gender Equity.

DeAndre’ is a National Human Trafficking Trainer. She was introduced to human trafficking over 20 years ago as an Art Therapist for girls residing in Angela’s House, one of the first safe houses for sexually exploited girls. She has also consulted with youthSpark, and other youth serving organizations.

DeAndre’ received her BA in English from Austin College in Sherman Texas. She is a graduate of The Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia. She is also a graduate of the Islamic Speakers Bureau Leadership Institute. Her passion includes facilitating YouNiquely You… Commenses Towards Maturity. This program host conversations with tween girls introducing them to their menstrual cycle, dispelling myths and helping them to embrace BECOMING!
