Family First: Supporting Families of Deaf Youth in Midst of COVID-19

Trauma-informed care highlights the importance of family inclusion. However, for deaf youth in hearing families, the COVID-19 pandemic created barriers to providing the linguistic and cultural competence needed for healing-centered care. This workshop will identify solutions to dismantling these barriers.
