Lessons Learned: Using Residential Runaway Data to Determine Discharge Placement in Permanent Home-like Settings

Utilizing two data collection tools, the Runaway Debrief tool and Personal Rights Check-In Survey, this research explores the relationship between runaway frequency and discharge placement, considering familial connection and placement choice as mediators. We hope these findings will inform improvements in residential facilities, facilitating more youth discharging to home-like settings.
