The journey of a transgender girl who experienced trauma serves as focus for understanding the transgender experience in this workshop which reflects on challenges encountered by LGBTQ+- youth and enhances skills of participants by demonstrating empirically driven creative and expressive methods, such as art, mindfulness and sandplay in a validating and affirming manner.
