“Evaluators using The ERASOR to make decisions regarding an adolescent’s placement or treatment should have the following: (1) a high level of training and expertise regarding the assessment of adolescents and their families, (2) a high level of training and expertise regarding the etiology, assessment, and management of sexual violence, and (3) familiarity with the existing research regarding adolescent sexual recidivism.” IMPORTANT: One of the original authors of the ERASOR has suggested that the assessment be replaced with the PROFESOR. https://www.profesor.ca/ The PROFESOR will be assessed and added to the compendium version 2.0 if appropriate.
