Hello, my name is Myles Williams and I’m a former foster youth. Since emancipating, I have had a deep passion with working with youth and families in the system. My work in social services started in 2011 when I started facilitating at a non-profit gyred to help low-income families who need parenting classes to be able to get their children back or to close their DCFS case. In 2020 I became a peer partner at an organization called hillsides youth moving on and in 2021 I was promoted to youth advocate. In 2023 I was awarded the Tricia Louise Gurley award from ACRC for the work I do with our youth and families. A few months later I was hired as an ACRC/BBI consultant and in Augst 2025 I was elevated to the board of directors with ACRC/BBI. In my free time I enjoy being a dad to my two sons and love taking great pictures of the beaches in Sothern California.
