Peter Myers

Pete Myers, PsyD, Co-Executive Director of the Sonia Shankman Orthogenic School at University of Chicago. The majority of his clinical work has been at the Orthogenic School in a variety of roles from being a direct care counselor, Co-Executive Director to his current position. He has worked as a psychometrician, crisis interventionist at a local emergency room, and out-patient family therapist. His doctoral training included working at a large half-way house for chronically mental ill adults, Cook County Jail’s psychiatric unit, and a state operated psychiatric hospital in Manhattan in New York City. He also teaches at Northeastern Illinois University Psychology Department and is and the University of Chicago’s School of Social Service Administration.
