Child and youth care has embraced the importance of ethical standards for decades. We have Codes of Ethics and access to a range of trainings and post-secondary courses to guide us. What we often neglect, however, are opportunities to talk frankly about the challenges we face each day as we endeavor to engage ethically and relationally with children, youth, families, our colleagues and the agencies in which we work. The pandemic has only further exacerbated these challenges.
