Topic: Overview of the Six Core Strategies© | Guest Speakers: Ebony Chambers (Family Peer Facilitator), Dr. Kevin Huckshorn (Core Strategy Faculty), and a Program Leader

Description: The Six Core Strategies© is a nationally recognized evidence-based practice that has demonstrated significant effectiveness across an array of services in promoting trauma-informed care and reducing/preventing coercive practices, including seclusion and restraint events.

ACRC members have asked for more information to support them in their efforts to prevent/reduce the use of coercive practices, including restraints, so ACRC is offering this 7-session training series providing overviews of and practice applications for each of the evidence-based Six Core Strategies©.
