The Building Bridges Initiative (BBI), the technical assistance arm of ACRC, is excited to offer providers of residential interventions, committed to hiring or having already hired at least one family partner, the opportunity to participate in The Family Partner Project.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
The Goals of this Project:
- Provide TA activities that will successfully prepare an organization for, and help them with hiring, developing support systems for, and integrating family partner(s) fully into their organizations and believe they have the tools to be successful with family partners.
Project Requirements:
Requirements for providers of residential interventions to be considered for the project include having leadership staff who:
- have participated in BBI, ACRC, and/or Six Core Strategies© or other types of TA activities focused on implementing residential best practices.
- will enthusiastically embrace the principle of, and have made improvements to program practices and staff skills, showing commitment to family-driven care
- have already hired or committed to hiring at least one family partner position dedicated to residential program(s) within the next year,
- willing to have the organization’s CEO sign off on 1) commitments to the principle of family-driven care, 2) intent to or already hired a family partner, 3) having at least 3 leadership team members fully participate in this project
Key Dates:
- November 25, 2025: Due date for Applications
- December 29, 2025: Programs will be notified
- February 10, 2026: Technical Assistance (TA) Activities will begin by this date
- September 2026: Project will be completed
Application Requirements:
- Submission of application
- Signed commitment from the organization’s CEO supporting the investment and participation of the organization throughout the 9-month project.
- Signed commitment from each of the leadership team members.
Investment:
- ACRC requests that programs cover the costs to provide this Technical Assistance.
- Requested amount: $7,500
