Night Staff
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay: $27.00 per hour
Teton Youth & Family Services is seeking dedicated Night Staff to help ensure the safety, well-being, and positive daily routines of youth residing at Red Top Meadows or Van Vleck House. Working under the supervision of the Program Manager, this position is responsible for maintaining a safe and supportive overnight environment while providing compassionate care and operational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the safety and security of the facility throughout overnight hours.
- Conduct frequent bed checks every 10–15 minutes and accurately document each check.
- Remain alert and attentive throughout the entire shift.
- Wake students for school, prepare weekday breakfast, and assist with lunch and dinner preparation as needed.
- Complete breakfast food production records.
- Create a positive and respectful morning environment for youth.
- Perform assigned housekeeping and minor maintenance tasks.
- Respond appropriately to overnight student concerns and communicate important information to incoming staff.
- Document incidents and resident information using the electronic medical record system.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, staff meetings, and required training sessions.
- Participate in the on-call rotation for the crisis shelter approximately 1–2 times per month.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director and Child Care Supervisor.
Qualifications
Candidates must possess a high school diploma and demonstrate the ability to work effectively with youth in a residential treatment setting. First Aid and CPR certification is required or must be obtained after hire. Applicants must be willing to complete all required training and certifications, successfully pass a background check, and possess a valid driver’s license.
