House Manager – Red Top Meadows

Teton Youth & Family Services (TYFS) is seeking a reliable, organized, and mission-driven House Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Red Top Meadows residential treatment facility. Red Top Meadows serves adolescent boys through a comprehensive program that integrates clinical therapy, education, and wilderness experiences. This position provides essential operational and logistical support, ensuring the facility runs smoothly so direct care and clinical staff can focus on the treatment and growth of the youth they serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the hiring process for childcare staff and supervisors, including posting positions, screening applicants, and participating in interviews.
- Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and compliance with staffing ratios.
- Oversee the cleanliness, organization, and general upkeep of the Red Top Meadows facility.
- Maintain inventory of supplies, including cleaning products, linens, clothing, and toiletries.
- Coordinate facility repairs and maintenance with the TYFS operations team or outside vendors.
- Manage day-to-day facility systems, including laundry schedules, chore rotations, and storage organization.
- Support meal preparation and service when needed, particularly during staffing shortages or special events.
- Assist with seasonal projects, including organizing equipment for wilderness trips and storing supplies.
- Interact with youth in a supportive and professional manner while reinforcing program expectations.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment.
- Maintain knowledge of program structure, treatment philosophy, and safety procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall operation and safety of the program.
Qualifications
Candidates should have a college degree or some post-secondary education. Previous experience in facility operations, housekeeping, hospitality, or residential care is preferred. Strong organizational skills, attention to risk management, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities are essential. Applicants must be comfortable working in a residential treatment setting with youth, be able to work both independently and collaboratively, possess a valid driver’s license, and successfully complete a criminal background check and child abuse registry screening.
