Position Overview
Teton Youth & Family Services is seeking a reliable, organized, and mission-driven House Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Red Top Meadows facility. Red Top Meadows serves adolescent boys in a residential treatment setting, integrating clinical therapy, education, and wilderness programming. The House Manager plays a vital behind-the-scenes role in ensuring the facility runs smoothly and safely, providing logistical and operational support so that our direct care and clinical teams can focus on youth treatment and growth. Job Duties
- Coordinate the hiring process with Van Vleck House Manager for childcare staff and
supervisors, including posting positions, screening applicants, and participating in
interviews - Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage across all shifts and
maintain compliance with staffing ratios - Oversee the physical upkeep and cleanliness of the Red Top facility, including laundry,
common spaces, and staff areas - Maintain and monitor inventory of supplies, including cleaning products, linens, clothing,
and basic toiletries - Coordinate repairs and maintenance with the TYFS operations team or external vendors
as needed - Organize and manage basic facility systems such as laundry schedules, chore rotations,
and storage - Support meal prep and service in collaboration with the kitchen team, particularly during
staff shortages or special events - Assist with seasonal tasks such as organizing gear for wilderness trips or storing supplies
- Interact with youth in a supportive and appropriate manner; reinforce program
expectations when present - Participate in regular staff meetings and contribute to a positive, respectful team culture
- Maintain awareness of program structure, treatment philosophy, and safety expectations
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall program functioning and safety.
Qualifications
- College Degree or some post-secondary education
- Previous experience in facility operations, housekeeping, hospitality, or residential care
preferred - Strong understanding and attention to risk management practices
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable working around youth in a residential treatment setting
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Must pass a criminal background check and child abuse registry screening
- Valid driver’s license preferred
