What it Measures

Needs and strengths of a family. It is a family-based version of the suite of TCOM tools that include the Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths (CANS), the Adult Needs and Strengths Assessment (ANSA), and the Readiness Inventory for Successful Employment (RISEmploy).

FAF began as a paper assessment and is now a cloud-based service. “In 2012, the FAF moved to the cloud and became FAF Software, a web-based tool. It enables family support workers, managers, supervisors, funders and all other stakeholders to access essential data remotely from any internet-enabled device. It integrates the Family Assessment Form with modernized technological power.”
