Anton is currently the Executive Director for Oak Hill Boys Ranch, a campus based therapeutic residential program, located near Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He has worked at Oak Hill for fifteen (15) years and in the area Child and Youth Care for over 30 years in variety children’s services domains. In addition, he is a Children And Residential Care (CARE) Consultant and an Instructor for Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) with the Residential Child Care Project (RCCP) at Cornell University. Anton has completed a Masters in Social Work (2005) through Dalhousie University in Child and Family Practice and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Victoria. Anton has presented at international, national and regional conferences on topics related to Child and Youth Care. He has published two peer-reviewed articles in the areas of residential treatment and restraint reduction.
