Christina Veerkamp serves as the Parent Partner at Nexus Mille Lacs Family Healing. She has worked in a variety of positions there for almost 14 years and for the past 5 years has developed the new position of Parent Partner. As the Parent Partner she bridges the gap between families and clinicians by giving families a voice starting before treatment begins until after transition into the community. She currently holds several certifications, state and national, in peer support.
