David is an LCSW who has worked at Northwest Children’s Home (NCH) for 18+ years. He started as residential treatment specialist, advanced to Case Manager and then to Program Manager working with latency aged boys. He enjoyed working with this population so much he almost did not apply for a therapist position that was open for adolescents. In the end, David has been a therapist for most of his time at NCH and has loved it, even though it meant his office was next to Christy Lunceford’s. He specializes in working with youth who have experienced various trauma, abuse and neglect, as well as having certification working with adolescent sexual offenders. In addition, David is in part-time private practice with his wife working with both adult and adolescent sexual offenders at Valley Treatment Specialties.
