In her role as the Vice President of Population Health and Advocacy for Children’s Hospital Colorado, Ms. Baskfield oversees the Child Health Advocacy Institute, leads the hospital’s population health strategy, and develops the hospital’s advocacy and legislative efforts to influence child health policy at the local, state and federal levels. In addition, she manages and oversees the hospital’s global health work. Prior to joining Children’s, Ms. Baskfield served in Governor Ritter’s administration as legislative program manager for the Colorado Department of Natural Resources. Before this, she was an attorney for the Office for Civil Rights in the U.S. Department of Education, where she advocated for children with disabilities.
