In December 2018, Isaiah was invited to present about transfer student success in a transfer student seminar. In March 2019, Isaiah co-presented Mating Preferences in College Students at the Advanced Research Methods Colloquium and received the Most Creative Research Design Award, which highlighted a divergent research design. Isaiah was asked to present Mating Preferences in College Students at the Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities (URCA) at University of California, Santa Barbara in May 2019. Simultaneously, he co-presented Correct vs. Optimal: Flexibility in Decision Criterion Signals Preference for which he was awarded the Transfer Student Research Award that allowed him to conduct an independent research project.
