Joshua Mathieu serves as Program Manager at Hillsides’ Youth Moving On Peer Resource Center in Pasadena, Los Angeles County, California. Joshua manages the daily operations of the youth drop-in center that provides services such as housing assistance, workforce, mental health, food, clothing, hygiene items, showers, and laundry. Joshua began at Hillsides in 2010 as a Therapeutic Recreation Assistant and quickly moved into positions such as Individual Rehabilitation Specialist, Therapeutic Behavioral Specialist, and Workforce Development Specialist. As a member of Hillside’s TIC Committee, Joshua has presented at conferences nationwide, including at The National Council on Behavioral Health and the California Council of Community Health Agencies. He has a Bachelor of Science in International and Community Development from Indiana Wesleyan University.
