Kaleala is passionate about working with young people in foster and residential care settings. She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and works as a Permanency Social Worker in the Plummer Youth Promise Group Home where she works relentlessly to ensure young people discharge from the child welfare system by achieving their optimal level of permanency. Kaleala is also an Alumna at the MA Network of Foster Care Alumni where she strives to create community and opportunity for current and former foster youth through education, employment, service and leadership
