Krishna Kumar Thapa is the Founder and Executive Director of Voice of Children Nepal. He has over 30 years of experience working with street-connected, sexually abused, and other vulnerable children in Nepal. He developed the Ladder Approach through a participatory process involving street-connected children, ensuring that the model reflects their lived experiences, needs, and aspirations. Under his leadership, this innovative approach has significantly contributed to child protection, psychosocial recovery, and family reintegration practices. The Ladder Approach has demonstrated positive impacts at both national and international levels and has been recognized as an effective and replicable model for supporting vulnerable children through therapeutic residential care and sustainable reintegration.
