Margaret Vimont, LCSW has dedicated her 30-year career to youth and family services.  Beginning as a youth care worker out of college, the first half of her career focused on residential treatment as she took the roles of therapist, clinical supervisor and residential director at Jewish Child and Family Services in Chicago. From there, she expanded her scope as Chief Operating Officer for JCFS in Chicago and One Hope United in Florida, Missouri, Wisconsin and statewide in Illinois. In these roles, Margaret provide leadership for the full array of services to youth and families, including mental health services, residential and foster care, workforce development, early childhood services, services to people with disabilities and community-based programs, related to both prevention and child welfare. Ms. Vimont served on the board of directors for the Association of Children’s Residential Centers for many years and as their Board President from 2009 to 2011. She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. As the Vice President of Strategy and Service Development at Nexus, Ms. Vimont leads the identification, development and implementation of innovative treatment options to complement existing services and offer additional opportunities to help youth and families when they need it most.
