Michael Semel, Ph.D., the Vice President of Clinical Quality and Outcomes, began his career as a residential counselor in 1984. He has been at The Home since 2001 and has served in numerous roles including as a Clinician, as a Clinical Supervisor, as a Program Director, and more recently as the Senior Director of Residential Services. Michael received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Michigan State University. He completed clinical internships and postdoctoral fellowships in Clinical Child Psychology at the Cambridge Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Michael received his BA in Psychology from Amherst College and a graduate certificate from the Institute of Nonprofit Management and Leadership at the Boston University School of Management.
