Dr. Patrick Tyler has over twenty-five years of clinical, administrative, and research experience in residential and community-based treatment services for children and families. He earned his doctorate from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in Education with an emphasis in emotional and behavioral disorders and is an Independently Licensed Mental Health Practitioner and Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Nebraska. Dr. Tyler has served in several clinical and research roles at Boys Town for over twenty years. Currently he is the Senior Director of the Child and Family Translational Research Center at Boys Town, and directs research activities to support Youth Care staff and programs in a manner that moves from practice related needs to research and then back to practice so that research is used to improve services for children and families.
