Patrick Tyler, Ph.D., LIMHP, LPC is the Director of Research Translation at Boys Town in Nebraska. He has twenty-five years of experience working with youth and families in a variety of treatment settings, including extensive experience working with juvenile sex offenders prior to his work at Boys Town. For the last 18 years, Dr. Tyler has worked at Boys Town as a clinical director and administrator in the residential and aftercare programs, and researcher in the Center for Neurobehavioral Research and Translational Research Center. Recent research efforts include involvement in neurobehavioral research using fMRI to better understand brain function related to abuse and neglect as well as evaluation of the trauma-informed model of the Family Home Program at Boys Town.
