Patty Olney-Murphy has worked at St. Mary’s Home for Children since 1991. Patty has more than 30 years of experience in the social work field working with high risk and vulnerable populations. Patty and the Clinical team are dedicated to training future generations of clinicians through collaborations with local and regional colleges and universities. Patty started the St. Mary’s Home for Children Pet Assisted Therapy Program with her beloved 4-legged clinician Rango. Patty has a BSW degree from Rhode Island College, a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Rhode Island, and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Rhode Island College as well as CEUs in evidenced-based practices.
